The book launch of Glyn Hughes’s poetry collection takes place on 8th December 2007 at the ArtsMill, Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire UK.
Glyn Hughes’s poetry has been a Poetry Book Society recommendation, and a recipient of the Welsh Arts Council Poet’s Prize. His novels have been awarded the Guardian Fiction Prize, the David Higham Prize and been short-listed for the Whitbread and James Tait Black prizes.
“Two Marriages” is a long autobiographical poem in two sections and is the first of Hughes’s books to be illustrated by the writer himself who began his career at art school.Hughes has an international reputation and is a regular contributer to BBC Radio 4. The launch represents a major event for the ArtsMill gallery at Linden Mill.
