Writing
  • I am a writer of speculative fiction, paranormal fiction, SF, steampunk and poetry. I am also a musician, artist and digital guru, so explore those sections here too. Kindle editions of my poetry are available from Amazon. Stories from the Death CodexCrystal Parliament and Cabal series are forthcoming for Kindle.

“An unmistakable authority” is how Glyn Hughes, the acclaimed novelist, poet and artist described my poetry. You can read some of my work that he enjoyed in the collection Verbal Narcotics.

I have written tutorials, technology and management articles, covering subjects such as Photoshop, Windows icon design, time management and motivation. My work has been published in Plumes – le magazine de l’ecriturenet du stylo, Staple, Poetry Nottingham, First Time, The Rialto, Inkshed, Leicester Haymarket, Shadow Phoenix, Moonstone, La Vache, Folio, East Midlands Arts Mailout, Aabye’s Baby, PC Format, Digital PhotoFX, Mac Art & Design and Computer Arts. People are always interested in inspirations. Poets who inspire me are Bob Dylan, Ted Hughes, ee cummings, Thom Gunn, Leonard Cohen, William Carlos Williams, Robert Graves and others. It is the fiction of William Gibson, Frank Herbert, Neal Stephenson, Sean McMullen, Dan Simmons, Storm Constantine, Alastair Reynolds, Kevin J Anderson and others that nurtures my love of SF. The writings of Richard Bandler, Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, SL Magregor-Mathers, Perdurabo, Tenzin Gyatso, Nichiren and others continue to nurture the spirit.

I’ve been cited as a “new-renaissance man” for the breadth of my creative endeavours, in which I seek to manifest a metaphysical understanding of the world through diverse art forms, as I stand on the crossroads between technology and the humanities.

My poetry collections Deja-Vu – Selected Poems, Verbal Narcotics, Derbyshire Poets (ed), Living Poets (ed) and Dervish Days are published by Dragonheart Press. I cyber-edit and #selfpub The London-Paris-Cydonia Chronicle (below) which collects some of the net-traffic that interests me and relates to my projects.
